I am so grateful we found Mai to alter my wedding dress! I ordered my dress online and was very disappointed, it was uncomfortable and unwearable when I received it. I took it to Mai and she worked wonders on it! I’m now excited to wear my dress! My Son ordered the wrong style tux for prom, and she went over and beyond to fix it for us!!! They were so patient with me & understood the situation and what my budget was. The  owner was absolutely amazing with my girls and found all there dresses quick and easy. Fantastic experience!! Staff was friendly and personable, making you feel comfortable. They were NOT pushy or opinionated. Last minute plans put me in a time crunch of 10days for finding a ball gown on top of needing alterations. Princess and Penguin had plenty of options to choose from making the choice of only one dress difficult. They were also more than happy to make sure my alterations were done in time. Just bring your shoes! I’ll definitely be back. 100% satisfied customer.

Can’t say enough about this place. We were just passing through from Topeka and had a last minute thought to stop.  These ladies worked so hard to make sure we didn’t miss out on trying dresses even though they were busy.  Tried on 3 and that’s all we needed to know we found the perfect dress! The owner was amazing!! We had a long day in Wichita wedding dress shopping, feeling defeated after not finding anything, the owner stayed open late and went above and beyond to help us. I took my daughter and her friend to Princess & Penguin today, looking for prom dresses. LIFE SVAERS!!!! My wife ordered a dress online, expecting a completely different color than what came in. I had already picked out my suit, and had to make a last minute change so my wife and I would match. Mai and Emily were VERY helpful with everything, making it a seamless process from beginning to the end. Amazing customer service! Mai was also able to make a quick adjustment to my wife’s dress! They did an excellent job. Got me in and out with ease, tailored to my prices, matched my colors, and overall I felt welcomed and appreciated. I gave a 4/5 purely as I didn’t get to try my tux on, and it was ordered and I won’t get to try it till 2 days before prom. But amazing amazing place!

Went just looking, for my daughter's first prom dress. But ended up finding The dress.  The sales girl was very friendly , understood our intention so gave us space and let us look without pressure but was right there to put things in the dressing room to try.  At the sale the owner (I think) gave us extras that we did not expect. Overall great experience!
